How You Eat Food
People with different mouth behaviors eat food differently. Therefore, they perceive the texture of foods differently.
Smooshers use the tongue and the roof of their mouths to “smoosh” food. They often do not enjoy chewing, and do so only when they can’t “smoosh” a food. Because of this, they will eat much smaller bites of hard foods. They will enjoy crunchy foods that they can turn into “smoosh” – like puffed snacks. They can be accused of being “slow” eaters
