How You Eat Food
People with different mouth behaviors eat food differently. Therefore, they perceive the texture of foods differently.
Chewers eat with the same mouth motions as crunchers, but they are less vigorous in their chew and eat a food more slowly. When eating a crunch food, they turn it into a “moist ball” that they can chew. There are actually two types of chewers. Soft/short chewers enjoy softer foods that don’t take a long time to chew. Long chewers like foods that they can chew on longer – like gummy bears
